サイフってどうにもやっかいな存在だ。微妙にポケットに収まらないし、カバンに入れても厚ぼったくて収まりが悪い。サイフの中身も問題だ。油断するとどんどんゴミみたいなものが溜まっていって、収まりの悪さを助長することになる。
どうすればこれをスマートに管理できるだろう？
僕は単純な解答に辿り着いた。それは、サイフを持たないことだ。
冷静に考えてみてほしい。特別な事情が無い限り、日常的に現金を多く持ち歩く必要は無いはずだ。1回か2回食事ができるだけの額があれば大抵はなんとかなるし、それ以上必要な場合はカードを使えばいい。
